  • In-app purchase history (processed through Apple App Store; we do not collect payment card details)

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
  • Enable AR gameplay features including location-based spawns and camera-based rescue mechanics
  • Process in-app purchases and deliver virtual items
  • Send launch notifications and important service updates (if you opted in)
  • Facilitate multiplayer features such as trading, battles, and Clowder (guild) systems
  • Improve and personalize your experience
  • Detect, prevent, and address cheating, fraud, or technical issues

4. Location Data

Finding Poppy uses your device's location to provide GPS-based gameplay features including biome detection, Poppy spawns, CatnipStop interactions, and distance tracking for egg hatching. Location data is only collected while the app is in active use and you have granted location permission. You can revoke location access at any time through your device settings, though some gameplay features will be unavailable.

5. Camera & AR Data

The Service uses your device's camera and LiDAR sensors to render augmented reality content. All camera processing occurs on-device. We do not capture, transmit, or store photographs or video from your camera. Camera access is required for the AR rescue mechanic but can be managed through your device settings.

6. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

  • Service Providers: Third-party services that help us operate the Service (analytics, cloud hosting, push notifications)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • Safety: To protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public
  • With Your Consent: When you explicitly agree to share information (e.g., public leaderboards, Clowder membership)

7. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. We will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days of a verified request, except where retention is required by law.

Finding Poppy is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.
